The Movie Matt

This is The Movie Matt, aka Matthew J. Osga. I’ve been a movie lover for as long as I can remember, but instead of having dreams of becoming a famous actor or legendary director, I’ve always wanted to be a film critic. I was inspired early on like many by the televised reviews of Ebert and Roeper (a little too young for Siskel). It has been my dream to bring passionate and objective film criticism to the masses, while knowing that film criticism can’t always be 100% objective. Just like every single one of us, my experiences uniquely shape my thoughts and opinions. That being said, each one of has had our own unique experiences, which means we each have unique thoughts and opinions. This balance of objective and subjective film criticism is what I believe is the best way to approach the discussion of film.
